This would have students learning to give criticisms to be successful in the group activities. <br \/>\n\u2022I see how you're interpreting this standard, and students will need to learn how to accept the criticisms of peers with a positive light even if negative criticism is received. Students need to learn how take a negative critique and use it positively. <br \/>\n\u2022What is unclear to me is what specific aspects of group works skills with the students are learning. <br \/>\n\u2022Other connections I see are how the groups can be compared to the outside world to add it as a life skill.","replyPages":[{"page":0,"digests":[{"id":"53197728","body":"Why thank you for your input, criticism, and questions. I feel group work is an important aspect of education that students will benefit from greatly. Students will be able to gain knowledge from their peers which can also help them shape their own ideas as well. Learning to work within groups is great preparation for real world work experiences. The specific aspects within the group work that I will stress and will excerise in my lesson plans are communicating ideas, peer review and  edit, group research, and teamwork.
